Business language course gives practical local knowledge

The implementation of the Business Language Course in Palermo started its intense at the beginning of November. Participants coming from various African and Asian countries, among which Senegal, Bangladesh, Gambia and Georgia, are using the opportunity to learn about business and official language, the Italian bureaucratic system and labour-market-related skills while practically exercising their digital skills on the computers provided by CESIE. The learning-by-doing approach chosen by the Italian organisation has proven as highly successful in enabling participants to use the acquired knowledge after the end of the course in a practical way.

The course is accompanied by a language teacher, intercultural mediator as well a trainer from CESIE, who accompanies the trainees individually and guides them in their learning process.
