Social equality is strongly connected to financial inclusion. Funded by AMIF, the PLOUTOS project aims to support third-country nationals (TCNs) in achieving prosperity and integration in their host countries by providing resources, training, and access to financial services.
Since the kick-off of PLOUTOS Project, partners have been promoting prosperity for TCNs and local communities. By improving financial literacy, facilitating access to finance, and enhancing skills relevant to the host countries’ business community, PLOUTOS enhances the overall integration process, benefiting both TCNs and the societies they become part of. As the projects entered its last phase, this newsletter is born to share testimonies from the project partners and TCNs’ journeys. In the following weeks, we will shed a light on the challenges overcome by the project participants and how the programme is helping them build their future.
The participants who took part in the project not only had the chance to attend tailor-made courses on business language and financial literacy, but also had the opportunity to enter the PLOUTOS Business Acceleration Programme (BAP), a specific programme built to support TCNs in the creation of their own business. The programme also relies on the support of the PLOUTOS App.
Connecting people and Institutions
On of the goals we have been working towards in the past few years is creating a platform to connect TCNs, organisations that supports them, and institutions. With this purpose, we organised an in-person event in Brussels, on December 6. During the event, we will showcase the final results from the project activities drawn by partners in each country, the takeaways lessons drawn from that, and you will have the chance to meet the participants of the project and hear directly from them. This will also be the occasion to exchange best practices, lay the path for future collaborations, and connect with representatives from European institutions.
If you want to learn how you or your organisation can make an impact on social and financial inclusion, register at this LINK! The event is free of charge and open to PLOUTOS partners and non-partners. Here you can also find a draft agenda for the event HERE.
