For the past several years Sofia Development Association (SDA) has consistently supported the labor integration of Third-Country Nationals (TCNs) and refugees in Sofia. Besides the provision of methodological tools and resources, SDA also aims to make the success of refugee and TCN entrepreneurs more visible to society. In the spirit of honoring business owners with a migrant background, for the 3rd year in a row SDA has organized an award ceremony for responsible businesses supporting TCNs employment. On the last day of November, together with local NGOs, together with local partners, we held a special event to recognize 10 TCNs who have settled in Sofia and have started their own small business.
➡️The PLOUTOS financial literacy and business language resources have been very useful and have helped migrant entrepreneurs improve their financial and business development skills. SDA is currently collecting applications for the two courses, and we will be happy to offer them to TCNs in Sofia starting in the beginning of
2024.
